Swimmers will compete from June 15-23 for berths in the upcoming Paris Olympics.
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — A total of 25 current, future and former University of Texas men's swimmers are scheduled to compete at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming on June 15-23 (Saturday-Sunday) at Lucas Oil Stadium. The nine-day event will determine spots on the official Team USA roster for the upcoming Paris Olympics.
The Longhorns' roster in Indianapolis is set to include 16 current athletes: Spencer Aurnou-Rhees, Ryan Branon, Coby Carrozza, Aleksej Filipovic, Nate Germonprez, Manning Haskal, Luke Hobson, Jackson Huckabay, David Johnston, Rex Maurer, Will Modglin, Chris O'Connor, Ben Sampson, Will Scholtz, Aaron Shackell and Camden Taylor.
Five incoming UT freshmen are slated to compete at the Trials, including Landon D'Ariano, Garrett Gould, Jeremy Kelly, Cooper Lucas and Kyle Peck. In addition, Texas will be represented by four former athletes: Carson Foster, Jake Foster, Drew Kibler and Will Licon.
Morning preliminary sessions will begin daily at 10 a.m. Central (11 a.m. Eastern). Evening semifinals and finals sessions will start at 6:45 p.m. Central (7:45 p.m. Eastern). All morning preliminary sessions will be streamed on Peacock and NBCOlympics.com, while NBC is slated to televise all of the evening finals.
