Volleyball earns AVCA Team Academic Award

The Longhorns are one of 230 Division I teams to claim the award.
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Volleyball has been named one of more than 1,400 teams that have earned the AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2023-24 season.
More than 1,400 collegiate and high school volleyball programs maintained a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale), to earn the award for their classroom excellence during the recently completed academic year.
The back-to-back National Champion Longhorns were one of 230 Division I teams to win the award.
