SEC Network announces 2024 SEC Soccer slate

The Texas-Iowa contest in Austin on August 25 opens SEC Network’s 26-match schedule.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The University of Texas' women's soccer program will be featured a league-high three times throughout the SEC Network's coverage of the 2024 SEC women's soccer season, ESPN and the SEC announced Thursday morning.
The Longhorns, which were selected second in the league's preseason coaches' poll earlier this week, will open the 26-match television schedule on Sunday, Aug. 25, when Texas welcomes Big 10 opponent Iowa to the Forty Acres for a 1 p.m. CT / 2 p.m. ET kickoff. A month later, UT will be featured on the channel, again, when it makes its first-ever trip to Oxford, Miss., to play Ole Miss at 6 p.m. CT / 7 p.m. ET on Thursday, Sept. 26.
SEC Network will showcase the SEC's two newest additions on Thursday, Oct. 10, when Oklahoma visits Austin for an 8 p.m. CT / 9 p.m. ET regular season matchup. The Longhorns hold a 10-2-1 all-time record against the Sooners in matches played on the Forty Acres with wins in five of the last six such matchups.
Additionally, the entire 11-match 2024 SEC Soccer Tournament will be shown on the SEC Network with full coverage information to be announced at a later date.
Texas, the reigning Big 12 Conference postseason champions, will open its 2024 regular season schedule at 7 p.m. CT on Thursday, Aug. 15, when former league foe Houston travels to Austin for the season-opening match for both programs. The match, along with numerous additional UT women's soccer matches throughout the season, can be streamed on SEC Network+.
