Volleyball to host exhibition match on August 17

The Longhorns will play a preseason match against UTSA on Saturday, Aug. 17 at 1 p.m.
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Volleyball will host a preseason exhibition match against UTSA on Saturday, August 17 at 1 p.m. at Gregory Gymnasium.
The Longhorns and Roadrunners last met during an exhibition match in the spring season.
For fans coming to the exhibition match, admission is free and doors at Gregory Gym open one hour prior to first serve. Fans may park for free in the Speedway Garage.
The 2024 schedule features 12 home matches at Gregory Gym as well as 16 total matches against teams from last season's NCAA Tournament field. The Longhorns will also play their first season in the SEC, with a competitive 16-match league schedule.
The reigning back-to-back National Champions will open the 2024 regular season at the Women's College Volleyball Showcase in Milwaukee, Wisc. The season opener will be against Wisconsin on Sunday, Sept. 1 at 11:30 a.m. and Texas will also face Minnesota on Monday, Sept. 2 at 6:30 p.m. The matches will air nationally on FOX and FS1 and will take place at Milwaukee's Fiserv Forum.
