Men’s Tennis preview: Big 12/SEC Challenge

The Longhorns will take the court in both singles and doubles play at the tournament in Waco from Oct. 3-5.
Waco, Texas – Four members of Texas Men's Tennis will be competing in singles and doubles play at the Big 12/SEC Challenge at the Hurd Tennis Center and Waco Regional Tennis Center in Waco, Texas, from Oct. 3-5.
That group for the Longhorns will include senior No. 37 Jonah Braswell, sophomore Evan Burnett, and freshmen Mariano Dedura-Palomero and Lucas Marionneau. All four players will play singles, and in doubles, Braswell will pair with Burnett, while Dedura-Palomero will partner with Marionneau.
Overall from the Big 12, student-athletes from Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, and Texas Tech, while the SEC will be represented by Texas and Texas A&M.
The draw will be released Friday and play will begin with doubles at 1 p.m. CT. On Saturday, it will move to the Waco Regional Tennis Center beginning at 9 a.m. CT. The final day of competition will take place Sunday at 9 a.m. CT back at the Hurd Tennis Center.
