No. 2 Volleyball's Swindle named SEC Co-Setter of the Week

Ella Swindle earns her third SEC Setter of the Week honor this season.
AUSTIN, Texas – No. 2 Texas Volleyball's Ella Swindle was named SEC Co-Setter of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Swindle earned the weekly honor for the third time this season after Texas improved to 16-0 on the season. The junior setter totaled 64 assists, four aces and two blocks in the two home matches at Gregory Gym.
The Colombia, Mo., native led Texas to a 3-0 win over Arkansas with 23 assists. The Longhorns hit .340 and saw seven teammates record at least one kill. She later recorded her second highest total in assists this season with 41 in the 3-1 win against Oklahoma. Texas averaged a .313 hitting percentage and outhit both opponents.
Swindle's award marks the eight-straight week a Longhorn has earned SEC Weekly honors and the 17th total honor. It's also back-to-back setter of the week honors for Swindle.
