Volleyball earns No. 3 overall seed in NCAA Tournament

Longhorns reach 42nd NCAA tournament and set to host First & Second Rounds
AUSTIN, Texas – No. 3 Texas Volleyball was named the No. 3 overall seed in the 2025 NCAA Volleyball Championships, the NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball committee announced Sunday. The Longhorns make their 42nd-ever appearance in the tournament and their 22nd-straight when they host the First and Second rounds at Gregory Gym.
Texas (23-3) will play Florida A&M (14-16) on Friday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. CT and will host the match of South Florida (17-12) and No. 25 Penn State (18-12) prior at 5:30 p.m. CT. The winners of Friday's matches will play on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. CT.
The First and Second Rounds will take place December 4-6, and Regionals will go from December 11th and 13th or the 12th and 14th. The National Semifinals will be held December 18 on ESPN. The National Championship will take place December 21, at 2:30 p.m. CT on ABC. The semifinals and championship will be held at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
