• WELOMING BACK TAI DILLARD: The Longhorns are happy to welcome back Prairie View A&M head coach and former Texas player Tai Dillard. As a player, Dillard was a four-year letter winner at The University of Texas (1999–2003), competing under legendary Hall of Fame coach Jody Conradt. She helped lead the Longhorns to four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, including a Final Four run in 2003. A two-time Big 12 All-Academic selection, Dillard started 34 games her senior season and
helped Texas to a 29-6 overall record.
• ACC/SEC CHALLENGE WIN: Texas secured their third top-10 win of the season and fourth ranked win on Thursday with a 79-64 win over No. 11/10 North Carolina. Sophomore Jordan Lee posted a career-high 22 points on 10-of-16 shooting from the field in the win.
• PLAYERS ERA CHAMPIONSHIP: The Longhorns beat No. 3 UCLA and No. 2 South Carolina on back-to-back days to win the Players Era Championship. The Longhorns became the first program in at least 25 years to win games over top-three opponents on back-to-back days. Rori Harmon was named the MVP of the Players Era Championship. The Longhorns moved up to No. 2 in the AP poll and received 10 first place votes.
• HARMON BREAKS ASSIST RECORD: Rori Harmon tallied nine assists and the game-winning shot against South Carolina in Las Vegas. Harmon broke the 40-year record previously held by Kamie Ethridge with her 777th assist. Harmon now has 789 career assists. This week Harmon moved into fourth on the Longhorns all-time list for career steals with 304.
• CARLTON STEPPING UP: Justice Carlton averaged 11.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game in the wins over UCLA and South Carolina. Carlton has scored in double figures in each of her last three games.
• NUMBER ONE RECRUITING CLASS: The Longhorns have inked the No. 1 recruiting class for 2026. Texas is the only program to sign multiple top-10 kids. The Longhorns recruiting class of Brihanna Crittendon, Addison Bjorn, Lizzy Spaight and Amalia Holguin has been ranked No. 1 by CBS Sports and the Dan Olson Collegiate Basketball Report.
• TEXAS AT MOODY CENTER: The Longhorns set a record for season ticket sales with 6,491. Texas has won 31 straight games at Moody Center and have a 56-5 all-time record at their home arena.
