No. 6 Women’s Golf sixth after day one of Moon Golf Invitational

Lauren Kim led the Longhorns with a round of even-par on Sunday.
MELBOURNE, Fla. — On a day where the wind gusted to 30 miles per hour the No. 6 Texas women's golf team battled and finished in sixth place after the opening round of the Moon Golf Invitational on Sunday at Suntree Country Club.
Lauren Kim led the Longhorns with a round of even-par and Angela Heo and Farah O'Keefe each carded rounds of 1-over. Bohyun Park rounded out the scoring for Texas with a 4-over-par round.
Texas shot 6-over as a team and trail tournament leader Florida State by eight shots. The Longhorns are three shots back of second place UCF and two shots back of third place Texas A&M.
Texas will tee off starting at 7:50 a.m. CT tomorrow and will be paired with Virginia and Mississippi.
The Lineup
Lauren Kim led Texas with a round of even-par and is T11 on the tournament leaderboard. Kim made four birdies in her round.
Angela Heo opened the tournament with a 1-over 73 and is T20 on the player leaderboard. Heo made three birdies on her scorecard.
Farah O'Keefe carded three birdies on her way to a 1-over-par 73. O'Keefe is T20 on the tournament leaderboard.
Bohyun Park made two birdies on her rounds and carded a 4-over 76.
Selina Liao made one birdie for her round and finished at 10-over 82.
