Texas will make its 2025 debut at the Third Coast College Classic in Houston on February 22-23.
AUSTIN, Texas - Texas Beach Volleyball will make its 2025 debut at the Third Coast College Classic in Houston, Texas on February 22-23. The Longhorns will face McNeese, Central Arkansas, UTEP, Sam Houston, and host school Houston Christian over two days.
This tournament marks the start of a new era for the Longhorns as they enter its first season in the CCSA. In addition, the roster does not consist of any players from the Texas indoor volleyball team.

MATCHUPS:
The Longhorns will open the weekend with an 11 a.m. matchup against McNeese followed by a 1:30 p.m. match against Central Arkansas. Texas will continue Sunday morning with matchups against Sam Houston at 8 a.m., UTEP at 10 a.m., and Houston Christian at 2:30 p.m.
HISTORY:

The Longhorns boast a 2-1 record over the HCU Huskies.

Texas leads its series against the UTEP Miners, 1-0.

This weekend's matches will be the first-ever against: McNeese, Central Arkansas, and Sam Houston.
WHO TO WATCH:
Texas returns for its first inaugural season led by Ava Patton (8-3) and Katie Hashman (8-4). Other impact players include Macey Butler and Presley Wright, who both went 7-5 last season. Seven additional Longhorns return to the Forty Acres for their second season.
ROSTER:
The Longhorns added four additions to its roster, all making their collegiate debut. These freshmen include Vivian Johnson (Dallas, Texas), Eva Liisa Kuivonen (Tallinn, Estonia), Brecht Piersma (Sneek, Netherlands), and Noa Sonneville (Zoetermeer, Netherlands).
