ESPN announces TV broadcast schedule for No. 1/1 Softball

Texas to be featured in seven top-five matchups across ESPN platforms.
BRISTOL, Conn. – On Wednesday morning, ESPN released its broadcast schedule for the upcoming Division I women's softball season with the top-ranked Texas Longhorns slated for a nation-best seven top five matchups across the ESPN platforms.
The SEC Network will highlight more than 50 matchups throughout the regular season leading into the SEC Tournament in Athens, Ga., beginning on May 6. SEC Network will televise the early rounds of the tournament, with the semifinalists on ESPN2 and championship game on ESPN. Additionally, SEC Network+ will feature more than 275 additional softball games.
Every home Texas softball game will be available to watch on a linear or digital platform with those designations to be announced at a later date.

UP NEXT
UT begins its season on Friday, Feb. 7, when it travels to Lafayette, La., to play Longwood and Louisiana as part of the Louisiana Classic. On Saturday, Feb. 8, Texas will play St. John's and Lamar in Beaumont, Texas in the UH/LU Tournament, before closing out the season-opening weekend with games against Tulsa and Sam Houston in Huntsville, Texas in the Bearkat Classic.
