SERIES HISTORY:
- The three-game weekend series will break a 5-5 all-time record between the Longhorns and Gators.

- However, when including a 1999 meeting in Tampa, Fla., Texas and Florida's series history in games played within the state of Florida is tied 101.
- Texas won the 1999 matchup, 7-0.
- A win by Texas on Saturday would be the third consecutive win by the Longhorns over Florida, tying for the longest winning streak by either program throughout the series history.
- The Gators won three consecutive meetings in 2007, 2011 and 2012.
- A UT win on both Saturday and Sunday would give the Longhorns the first-ever four-game winning streak by either team in the series history.
