Longhorns return to the Forty Acres for the 100th year of the Texas Relays in its second outdoor meet of the 2025 season.
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas track and field is set to host the historic four-day 97th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays presented by Truist beginning Wednesday, March 26 through Saturday, March 29th.
This year marks the centenary of the Texas Relays and was awarded the World Athletics Heritage Plaque in the category of 'Competition'. The World Athletics Heritage Plaque is a location-based recognition, awarded for an outstanding contribution to the worldwide history and development of the sport of track and field athletics and of out of stadia athletics disciplines such as cross country, mountain, road, trail and ultra-running, and race walking.
The four-day meet will host over 4,700 athletes from high school, collegians and professionals. Texas Relays will also host a slew of 2025 Olympians like Julien Alfred, 100-meter gold medalist and 200-meter silver medalist, Gabby Thomas – a three-time gold medalist in Paris, Valarie Alman – the two-time defending discus champion - and Leo Neugebauer, the decathlon silver medalist.
