Schedule update for No. 1/2 Softball’s participation in Ohio State Tournament

Texas now set to play Merrimack and Oakland on Saturday, Kent State on Sunday.
AUSTIN, Texas – Following an unforeseen circumstance involving a participating team in this weekend's Ohio State Tournament, The University of Texas softball program's five-game schedule for the weekend has been updated by tournament officials.
The Longhorns (21-1) will now play Merrimack College (0-5) and Oakland (4-7) on Saturday, before squaring off against Kent State (5-14) on Sunday. Dayton (8-6) and Ohio State (13-4-1) remain Texas' opponents for Monday, Mar. 10.
Despite the alteration, Monday afternoon's game between Texas and Ohio State on BTN remains the only Longhorn game this weekend that will be available on a video stream. However, Andrew Haynes will have the radio call for all five contests in Columbus, Ohio.

- Oakland vs. Texas, 2:30 p.m. CT / 3:30 p.m. ET

- Texas vs. Kent State, 4:30 p.m. CT / 5:30 p.m. ET
- Monday, Mar. 10
- Dayton vs. Texas, 11:30 a.m. CT / 12:30 p.m. ET
- Texas vs. Ohio State, 3 p.m. CT / 4 p.m. ET
