Texas looks to bounce back during upcoming three-game slate against LSU
AUSTIN, Texas – The University of Texas softball program will wrap up its seven-game home stand this week as the third-ranked Longhorns will welcome the ninth-ranked LSU Tigers to the Forty Acres for a three-game SEC series beginning on Thursday, April 17.
GAME SCHEDULE: Due to Easter being on Sunday, Texas' three-game series with LSU will start a day earlier than normal three-game conference series to avoid playing on the holiday.
- Thursday, April 17 – 4:30 PM CT (SEC Network+)
- Friday, April 18 – 4:30 PM CT (SEC Network+)
- Saturday, April 19 – 11 AM CT (ESPN2)
TELEVISION: Chris Mycoskie and Megan Willis will call the first two games of the series, before Matt Schumacker and Amanda Scarborough move into the television booth for Saturday's series finale.

SERIES HISTORY:
- Texas will enter this week's action against LSU having won the last six consecutive matchups in games played in Austin.
- The Longhorns dropped the first-ever game played on the Forty Acres, 6-2, in eight innings on Feb. 18, 2000, before reeling off six straight wins over the Tigers at Red & Charline McCombs Field.
