No. 7 Beach Volleyball sweeps No. 17 North Florida in regular season finale

The Longhorns completed their inaugural regular season with a 24-9 record.
AUSTIN, Texas - No. 7 Texas Beach Volleyball swept No. 17 North Florida on Saturday afternoon at the Wright-Whitaker Sports Complex to conclude the Lone Star Invitational. The Longhorns, who recognized Kylie Wickley and Maddison Parmelly in a post-match ceremony on Senior Day, completed their inaugural regular season with a 24-9 overall record, including a 3-1 mark in CCSA play.
During Saturday's match, Texas took a 2-0 lead against the Ospreys with a 21-16, 21-18 win from Macey Butler and Noa Sonneville on the No. 4 court and back-to-back 21-16 sets from Emma Grace Robertson and Katie Hashman on the No. 2 court. The No. 5 pair of Ava Patton and Vivian Johnson added a 21-17, 21-12 victory followed by a 21-18, 21-15 win from the No. 1 pair of Chloe Charles and Eva Liisa Kuivonen. In a three-set battle, Parmelly and Karin Zolnercikova secured the sweep on the No. 3 court, 22-20, 14-21, 15-8.
The victory marked Parmelly and Zolnercikova's 12th consecutive win, and the pair went undefeated on the No. 3 court during the weekend.
The Longhorns begin postseason play when they travel to Baton Rouge, La., for the CCSA Tournament on April 25-26.
