No. 8 Beach Volleyball's Parmelly and Zolnercikova earn CCSA Pair of the Week honors

The Texas program earn its second CCSA honor of the season.
AUSTIN, Texas – University of Texas Beach Volleyball's Maddison Parmelly and Karin Zolnercikova were tabbed the CCSA's Pair of the Week on Tuesday. It marked the first career CCSA weekly award for Parmelly and Zolnercikova and the second weekly accolade for the Longhorns this season, as Chloe Charles and Eva Liisa Kuivonen previously earned the honor on March 25.
The Longhorns' No. 3 pair helped No. 8 Texas go undefeated at the FSU Unconquered Invitational over the weekend in Tallahassee. The Longhorns improved to 21-8 on the season and added three ranked wins along with three victories against conference foes.
The duo was one of two Longhorn pairs that went 4-0 in competition and boasted a win in an exhibition match against USF. They began the weekend helping UT win its first conference match against South Carolina, 4-1. Texas later upset No. 5 Florida State, 3-2, with help from Parmelly and Zolnercikova winning their match by a score of 21-17, 21-15. The duo added another ranked win against No. 10 LSU (21-10, 21-12) and ended the weekend by defeating No. 15 FAU (21-18, 21-17).
