No. 6 Women’s Golf tied for seventh place after second round of NCAA Championship

Kim, O’Keefe and Hsu each shot 1-over 73 to lead the Longhorns on Saturday.
CARLSBAD, Calif. — The Texas women's golf team finished the second round of the NCAA Championship on Saturday and are tied for seventh place. The Longhorns totaled 10 birdies in the second round and finished the day with a 5-over 293.
Stanford is at the top of the leaderboard after shooting 10-under for the day and are at 5-under par for the tournament. Stanford is the only team under par for the tournament.
Lauren Kim, Farah O'Keefe, and Cindy Hsu went 1-over 73 on day two. Kim is now tied for sixth place on the individual leaderboard at 3-under 141 overall. Kim is four shots back of tournament leader Avery Weed from Mississippi State, who is at 7-under overall. O'Keefe and Hsu each carded two birdies during today's round.
Texas will tee off tomorrow at 9:25 a.m. CT and will be paired with Oklahoma State and Arizona State. The top 15 teams following round three will advance to the final round of stroke play on Monday.

Lauren Kim carded three birdies to conclude day two with 1-over 73. Kim is T6 on the individual leaderboard.
Farah O'Keefe went 1-over 73 on the second round and shot two birdies. O'Keefe is T33 on the individual leaderboard.
Angela Heo birdied hole 2 to finish her round of play with 3-over 75. Heo is T43 on the individual leaderboard.
Cindy Hsu birdied hole 2 and 16 and finished the day 1-over 73. Hsu is T53 on the individual leaderboard.
Bohyun Park moved up 18 spots on the leaderboard as she carded two birdies after second round of stroke play with 2-over 74. Park is T80 on the individual leaderboard.
