No. 6 Women’s Golf in seventh place after third round of NCAA Championship

O’Keefe, Park each card scores of 1-under-par to lead the Longhorns on Sunday.
CARLSBAD, Calif. — The No. 6 Texas Women's Golf team shot even par in round three of stroke play on Sunday and are in seventh place at the NCAA Championship at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa. The Longhorns are 5-over for the NCAA Championship after two rounds of even par and one round of 5-over-par.
Stanford set an NCAA Championship record with an 18-under-par third round and lead the tournament at 23-under. Northwestern is in second at 8-under and Oregon is third at 2-under.
The field was cut to the top 15 teams after the third round. The final round of stroke play will be contested tomorrow with the top eight teams advancing to the match play portion of the championship.
Farah O'Keefe turned in a clean scorecard with a birdie on the par-4, 15th hole and pars on every other hole. Bohyun Park made three birdies, including two on the back nine holes. O'Keefe and Park each carded scores of 1-under for the day. Lauren Kim shot even-par 72 for the third round and is 3-under for the tournament and in eighth place on the individual leaderboard.
The Longhorns will tee off hole 10 tomorrow starting at 1:56 p.m. CT and will be paired with South Carolina and Arizona State.
The Lineup
Lauren Kim carded a round of even-par with two birdies in her round on Sunday. With rain coming down, Kim got her round started with a birdie on the first hole. Kim has 23 rounds at par or better this season.
Farah O'Keefe turned in a round of 1-under 71 in round three and is 1-over for the tournament. O'Keefe made 17 pars and one birdie for her third round.
Bohyun Park moved up the leaderboard by 35 spots on Sunday with a 1-under 71. Park is 5-over for the tournament.
Cindy Hsu carded a round of 2-over 74 with one birdie on her scorecard.
Angela Heo birdied holes 2 and 6 in the third round of the tournament on Sunday.
