Softball releases 2026 SEC schedule

Texas will host four SEC home series at McCombs Field in 2026.
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Softball has announced its 24-game SEC schedule for 2026, which features four home series at McCombs Field.
Texas, who won the 2025 Women's College World Series National Championship, will host home series against Ole Miss (March 13-15), Texas A&M (March 27-29), Oklahoma (April 10-12) and Arkansas (April 30-May 2).
The Longhorns open conference play on the road at South Carolina on March 6-8 and then return to the Forty Acres for their SEC home opening weekend vs. Ole Miss on March 13-15. Fresh off a league bye weekend on March 20-22, Texas then hosts Texas A&M for the Cotton Holdings Lone Star Showdown on March 27-29 before hitting the road to Tuscaloosa, Ala., for a clash with the Alabama Crimson Tide on April 3-5. The Longhorns host Oklahoma on April 10-20 and then travel to Athens, Ga., for a road series at Georgia on April 17-19. The Horns will continue their road swing as they trek to Kentucky on April 30-May 2 before wrapping up the regular season at home vs. the Arkansas Razorbacks on April 30-May 2. Kentucky will host the 2026 SEC Tournament on May 5-9 at John Cropp Stadium in Lexington, Ky.
Game times, television assignments and the Longhorns' full schedule will be announced at a later date.
