Lauren Kim led the Longhorns scoring at 1-under 139 along with seven birdies in the first two rounds.
LAKE BLUFF, Ill. — The Texas women's golf team is in fourth place on the team leaderboard after two rounds of stroke play at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup at Shoreacres Golf Club on Monday.
The Longhorns carded eleven birdies in the first round and twelve in the second to finish the day at 8-over 568. Texas is six shots behind first place, which is occupied by Stanford, Wake Forest, and Oregon at 2-over 562. Texas made four birdies over the final two holes to get from 12-over down to 8-over-par for the tournament.
Junior Lauren Kim leads the Longhorns over the first two rounds by shooting 3-under 67 and 2-over 72 along with seven birdies in total. Farah O'Keefe bounced back from a 4-over 74 first round with a 3-under 67 performance at the second round. O'Keefe carded three birdies over the last four holes of round two.
Kim is tied at fifth place on the individual leaderboard, four shots behind first place Macy Pate from Wake Forest. O'Keefe is tied at eighth place, one shot behind seventh place Andrea Revuelta from Stanford. Junior Vivian Lu made her debut with the Longhorns today after transferring from Washington. Lu finished her day by going 2-over 72 and 4-over 74 along with four birdies and is tied at 22nd place on the individual leaderboard.
The Longhorns will conclude the final round of stroke play at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup tomorrow

Junior Lauren Kim totaled seven birdies combined and finished her day at 3-under 67 and 2-over 72. Kim is sitting at fifth place on the individual leaderboard with a 1-under 139 total.
Junior Farah O'Keefe shot 4-over 74 in her first round and concluded her second round at 3-under 67. O'Keefe shot five birdies and three of them came from her last four holes in round two. O'Keefe is tied at eighth place on the individual leaderboard with 1-over 141.
Senior Cindy Hsu carded six birdies in total and finished her two rounds at even-par 70 and 2-over 72. Hsu is at eleventh place on the individual leaderboard with 2-over 142.
Junior Vivian Lu concluded her debut with the Longhorns by shooting four birdies and wrapped up her two rounds at 2-over 72 and 4-over 74. Lu is T22 on the individual leaderboard with 6-over 146.
Senior Angela Heo birdied hole 15 to wrap up the first two rounds of the Jackson T. Stephens Cup at 6-over 76 and 5-over 75. Heo is T28 on the individual leaderboard with 11-over 151.
