No. 2 Women’s Golf concludes day one of ANNIKA Intercollegiate

Angela Heo carded six birdies for the Longhorns on Monday.
LAKE ELMO, Minn. — Following the first round of competition the Texas women's golf team is in ninth place at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate presented by 3M at Royal Golf Club on Monday.
The Longhorns totaled thirteen birdies in the opening round of the 2025 season and finished the day at 13-over-par 301. Northwestern leads the field at 1-under 287 and South Carolina is in second with 3-over 291. The Wildcats were the only team to shoot under-par on the day. The Longhorns are five shots back of fifth place Pepperdine.
Sophomore Farah O'Keefe leads Texas scoring at even-par 72, along with two birdies. O'Keefe is at ninth on the individual leaderboard. Angela Heo carded six birdies and finished the day at 2-over 74. Heo is sitting 15thon the individual leaderboard.
The Longhorns will resume competition at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate tomorrow at 9:25 AM CT off hole 10.
The Lineup
Junior Farah O'Keefe shot even-par 72 with two birdies to conclude day one. O'Keefe birdied holes four and 13 in her round. O'Keefe is T9 on the individual leaderboard.
Senior Angela Heo totaled six birdies on her way to a 2-over 74 in the first round. Heo is T15 on the individual leaderboard. Heo made three birdies from holes seven to 10 and made back-to-back birdies on holes 12 and 13.
Junior Selina Liao carded three birdies and shot 5-over 77 at the first round. Liao is T38 on the individual leaderboard.
Senior Cindy Hsu birdied the 9th hole and finished her opening day at 6-over 78. Hsu is T43 on the individual leaderboard.
Junior Lauren Kim birdied hole 12 to finish the first round at 7-over 79. Kim is T51 on the individual leaderboard.
