Duo collects program’s first MPSF weekly award after undefeated weekend.
AUSTIN, Texas – No. 6 Texas Beach Volleyball's Emma Grace Robertson and Lily Davis were named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Pair of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
The selection marks the first MPSF weekly honor in program history.
The duo also earned American Volleyball Coaches Association Pair of the Week recognition earlier in the day following a standout performance at the Death Volley Invitational.
Competing on Court 2, Robertson and Davis posted a 4-0 record over the weekend, winning all four matches in straight sets. They were the only Texas pair to go undefeated across four contests at the event.
The pair secured wins over No. 9 California, No. 10 Arizona State, No. 12 LSU and No. 16 Grand Canyon, helping Texas claim three ranked victories in Baton Rouge.
Robertson adds the MPSF honor to her second career AVCA Pair of the Week award earned earlier Tuesday, while Davis, a freshman, collects both honors for the first time in her career.
