Texas Head Coach Laura Ianello
"It was a fantastic performance by the women this week in Hilton Head, South Carolina. This was a very strong tournament field with a lot of top teams and it was great to see the Longhorns come out on top. We had great momentum from our first round and never really lost the lead. Farah O'Keefe played so well in the first proud of proud of her for getting the individual victory. It shows that they have been working very hard on their games. In addition to the physical practice that we have been putting in, the mental reps and feeling more comfortable under pressure and recognizing how to stay calm in these moments of winning tournaments. I'm super proud of our team and looking forward to our home tournament next week.
