AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Beach Volleyball's Katie Hashman, Brecht Piersma, Macey Butler and Karin Zolnercikova were named to the 2026 MPSF All-Tournament Team, the conference announced Monday. Piersma and Hashman also earned Most Valuable Pair honors.
The honors come after Texas captured the MPSF Championship on Friday in Huntington Beach, California, winning the title in its first season in the conference. Piersma and Hashman, Texas' No. 1 pair, went 4-0 during the tournament, including a match-tying point in the championship dual against UCLA. The duo rallied for a 21-19, 10-21, 15-13 victory on Court 1 to even the match at 2-2 and enter the NCAA Championship with a 20-7 overall record.
Butler and Zolnercikova, competing on Court 5, played a key role in Texas' title run. The pair delivered the championship-clinching point against UCLA, rallying for a 16-21, 21-18, 15-9 victory. They also contributed a pivotal three-set win in the semifinal comeback against USC as Texas erased a 2-0 deficit. The duo finished the tournament undefeated.
