No. 5 Women’s Golf in lead at NCAA Chapel Hill Regional after best team score in program history

Hsu and O’Keefe sit in first and second on the individual leaderboard after day two.
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The No. 5 Texas Women's Golf team concluded the second round at NCAA Chapel Hill Regional in first place on Tuesday at UNC Finely Golf Club.
The Longhorns registered 9-under 271 in round two, their best team score in program history. Texas is four shots ahead of second place North Carolina and has a 10-under 550 after two rounds of play and is one of the two teams with a under-par team score.
Farah O'Keefe carded two eagles in her round. On the hole 12 she hit an approach shot from 230 yards to within two feet and made eagle. The junior added three birdies to finish the day 5-under 65, sitting at second place on the individual leaderboard.
Cindy Hsu concluded round two with six birdies, including three consecutive birdies from holes 7 to 9. Hsu put up 4-under 66 on day two and is 8-under 132 to claim first place on the individual leaderboard.
The Longhorns will begin the final round at the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional on Wednesday at 7:00 a.m. CT
The Lineup
Farah O'Keefe put up three birdies and two eagles to finish round two with 5-under 65. O'Keefe now has four eagles this season and is at second place on the individual leaderboard.
Cindy Hsu recorded six birdies, including three consecutive ones at hole 7, 8, and 9, to finish 4-under 66 on Tuesday. Hsu is currently at first place on the individual leaderboard.
Selina Liao registered even-par 70 along with four birdies on day two. Liao is T17 on the individual leaderboard, one shot behind 12th place.
Lauren Kim finished round two of play even-par 70 and put up four birdies. Kim is T20 on the individual leaderboard, one shot away from 17th place.
Angela Heo birdied hold 2 and 9 to wrap up day two 2-over 72. Heo is T26 on the individual leaderboard, one shot behind 24th place.
