No. 5 Women’s Golf wins NCAA Chapel Hill Regional to advance to 10th straight NCAA Championship

This marks the 34th NCAA Championship appearance for the Longhorns.
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The No. 5 Texas Women's Golf team was crowned as the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional Champion and will advance to the NCAA Championship for the 10th straight time in program history as they wrapped up competition on Wednesday.
The Longhorns were the only team to register under-par for in the regional. Texas put up 5-under 835 with a 11-shot lead over second place North Carolina. In addition, the Longhorns are the only team that saw three players in the top-10 on the individual leaderboard.
Cindy Hsu capped off round three with 3-over 70 to sit at third place on the individual leaderboard. This marks Hsu's career-seventh top-5 finish, her fourth this season. Hsu finished the regional with 5-under 205 along with ten birdies.
Farah O'Keefe concluded the third round with 4-over 74 and five birdies. O'Keefe is tied at seventh place on the individual leaderboard with a score of 1-under 209. It marks the 24th top-10 finish in her career.
Lauren Kim shot 3-under 67 with six birdies in the final round to finish tied at seventh place on the individual leaderboard. This marks the 16th top-10 finish in Kim's career, her sixth in the 2026 season. Kim totaled 1-under 209 in the Chapel Hill Regional.
The Longhorns will compete in the NCAA Championship May 22-27 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.
The Lineup
Cindy Hsu recorded 3-over 73 on the final round to be at third place on the individual leaderboard. This marks Hsu's career-seventh top-5 finishes, her fourth this season.
Lauren Kim finished round three 3-under 67 and put up six birdies. Kim finished T7 on the individual leaderboard, her sixth time doing so in the 2026 season.
Farah O'Keefe added five birdies conclude round three with 4-over 74. O'Keefe is tied at seventh place on the individual leaderboard, which marks the 24th top-10 finishes in her career.
Selina Liao registered 3-over 73 along with birdies on hole 11 and 18 in the final round. Liao is T16 on the individual leaderboard, one shot behind 15th place.
Angela Heo put up 2-over 72 to finish day three at the Chapel Hill Regional. Heo wrapped up three rounds T21 on the individual leaderboard.
