Five Longhorns named to Volleyball Nations League week two roster for U.S. Women’s National Team

Texas will once again have the largest representation of any college program on the roster after helping USA Volleyball to a 3-1 record in week one.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Five former Texas Volleyball players were tabbed to the 15-player roster for the U.S. Women's National Team that will compete in week two of the 2026 Volleyball Nations League (VNL), June 16-20, in Pasig City, Philippines. The U.S. finished 3-1 in week one in Quebec City, Canada and open week two at 11 p.m. CT vs. the Dominican Republic on June 16, USA Volleyball announced on Thursday.
Texas will be represented by setter Saige Ka'aha'aina-Torres, middle blockers Molly McCage and Asjia O'Neal and outside hitter Logan Eggleston for the second time, while Olympic middle blocker Chiaka Ogbogu is making her first appearance with the team in the tournament this summer.
The VNL features the top 18 national teams in the world competing across three weeks of preliminary play in Quebec City from June 3-7, the Philippines from June 16-20 and Osaka from July 7-11. The top eight teams at the conclusion of preliminary play will advance to the Final Round to compete for the VNL Championship.
The U.S. Women are the reigning Olympic silver medalists and ranked No. 7 in the world. They have won the VNL three times (2018, '19, '21) since its inception in 2018. In 2025, they lost in the quarterfinals to Türkiye.
The U.S. Women's National Team is led by head coach Erik Sullivan, who is in his second season leading the program. He is assisted by Tayyiba Haneef-Park, Brandon Taliaferro and Rob Browning.
