Volleyball earns 2026 AVCA Team Academic Award

The Longhorns are one of over 231 Division I teams to claim the award.
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Volleyball has been named one of more than 1,400 programs to earn the AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year, the organization announced Thursday. The Longhorns finished the spring semester with a 3.52 team GPA.
More than 1,400 collegiate and high school volleyball programs earned the award after maintaining a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale) during the 2025-26 academic year.
Texas was one of 231 NCAA Division I programs to receive the award.
