Soccer’s Swann selected to participate with U.S. U-17 Women’s National Team

Freshman set to compete in Georgia from Aug. 9 – 20
AUSTIN, Texas — Texas freshman Caroline Swann has been called up to the U.S. Under-17 Women's National Team for training camp and three matches in Fayetteville, Ga. from Aug. 9 – 20.
While at the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center, Swann and the USA will face Mexico on Aug. 13, Chile on Aug. 16 and Canada on Aug. 19.
The U-17 USWNT is preparing for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Morocco, which will take place from Oct. 17 – Nov. 8.
Swann has earned multiple invites to participate with the U.S. Youth National Team system. The Dallas, Texas, native has competed at U-15, U-16 and U-17 stages over her prestigious young career.
In 2024, Swann served as a captain during the U-15 team's Concacaf title run. The 5-foot-4 midfielder was tabbed the tournament MVP and garnered Golden Ball honors.
Swann was tabbed the No. 5 overall recruit in the class of 2026, according to Top Drawer Soccer.
