2012 U.S. OLYMPIC TRIALS
• Placed seventh in the 1500m freestyle (15:14.85/15:10.32p) and eighth in the 400m freestyle (3:56.12/3:49.89p)
AS A JUNIOR (2011-12)
• Earned All-America honors in the 500 freestyle (7th, 4:20.11) and 1,650 freestyle (8th, 14:43.83) at the NCAA Championships
• Won the Big 12 title in the 1,650 freestyle with a time of 14:53.86 and finished second in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:20.79
• At the Texas Invitational, he placed second in the 1,650 freestyle (15:03.73),fifth in the 500 freestyle (4:20.75) and ninth in the 400 IM (3:52.09)
• Finished first in the 1,000 freestyle against Georgia (9:05.52) and Arizona (9:16.20) and was second at Auburn with a season-best 9:01.57
• Took second in the 500 freestyle in dual meets with Auburn and Arizona
• Had his best time in the 500 freestyle in the prelims at NCAA[apos]s with a 4:15.99
AS A SOPHOMORE (2010-11)
• Placed second in the 1,650 freestyle (15:25.92) and fourth in the 500 freestyle (4:29.90) against Texas A&M
• Won the 1,650 freestyle (15:19.18) and placed second in the 500 freestyle (4:26.65) and fifth in the 400 IM (3:59.59) against Arizona and SMU
• Took second in the 1000 freestyle (9:08.38) and third in the 500 freestyle (4:30.45) at Georgia
• Won the 1000 freestyle (9:08.74) and the 500 freestyle (4:30.43) at Auburn
• Placed second in the 1,650 freestyle (14:58.07), sixth in the 500 freestyle (4:25.13) and sixth in the 400 IM (3:57.26) at the Texas Invitational
