AS A JUNIOR (2013-14)
• Placed 22nd in the 1,650 freestyle (15:00.26) and 36th in the 500 freestyle (4:20.57) at the NCAA Championships
• Won the 500 freestyle consolation final (4:20.60) and completed a 1,650 freestyle exhibition swim (15:04.80) at the Big 12 Championships
• Took third in the 1,000 freestyle (9:36.94) at Arizona
• Placed sixth in the 1,650 freestyle (16:12.68) against Georgia
• Took fourth in the 1,000 freestyle (9:31.02) against Auburn

· Placed 13th in the 200 freestyle preliminaries (1:40.58) and swam the 500 freestyle exhibition (4:23.94) and the 1650 freestyle exhibition (15:11.85) at the Big 12 Championships
· Took third in the 1000 freestyle (9:07.60) and fifth in the 500 freestyle (4:29.63) against Arizona and SMU
· Placed fifth the 1000 freestyle (9:16.70) and seventh in the 500 freestyle (4:33.32) at Georgia
· Took third in the 1000 freestyle (9:16.47) and swam the 500 freestyle exhibition (4:36.06) at Auburn

• Finished fifth in the 1,650 freestyle (15:26.64) and 12th in the 500 freestyle (4:27.93) at the Texas Invitational
• Took second in the 1,000 freestyle against SMU with a time of 9:24.03
• Ended up fifth against Auburn and sixth versus Georgia in the 1,000 freestyle

• In his senior season, was selected All-State in both the 500-yard freestyle and the 400-yard freestyle relay

Born Nicolas Munoz on December 3, 1992 in Stavanger, Norway... son of Rodolfo Munoz and Angela Duque... has two brothers Sebastian (18) and Tomas (13)... received National Hispanic Scholar and AP Distinguished Scholar awards in high school... interested in pursuing a Plan II (interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts degree program) or Biology degree.
