JUNIOR (2017)

Played in the season’s first four games, making two starts (UTEP, Cal) before suffering a season-ending injury against Oklahoma State ... totaled 62 rushing attempts for 366 yards and three touchdowns ... rushed 14 times for 46 yards in the season-opening 50-47 2ot win against No. 10 Notre Dame ... started in a week two win over UTEP, rushing 20 times for 95 yards and a touchdown ... totaled 119 yards on 18 carries at California ... also had two touchdowns ... rushed 10 times for 106 yards before suffering an injury at Oklahoma State ... it was his second straight 100-yard performance and the fourth of his career.
FRESHMAN (2015)
Played in eight games, starting the last two of the season against Texas Tech and Baylor … finished fourth on the team in rushing with 470 yards, and third in rushing TDs with four … also caught five passes for 13 yards … rushed 18 times for 88 yards in his first six games, but amassed 382 rushing yards and four TDs on 53 carries (7.2 ypc) in the last two … named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against Texas Tech, setting the UT single-game freshman rushing record with 276 yards (No. 6 on the overall UT list), breaking the previous freshman mark by 63 yards (213, Cedric Benson vs. Kansas, 2001) … the 276 yards was the second-highest single-game rushing total in the Big 12 in 2015 and third-highest in the nation … also set the UT single-game freshman record for rushing TDs with four (t-No. 7 overall in UT history) … the four TDs tied the single-game high for the Big 12 during the season … his 91-yard TD run against the Red Raiders marked the longest run by a freshman in UT history (fourth-longest overall in UT history), and tied for the ninth-longest in the country in 2015 (second-longest in the Big 12 behind teammate D’Onta Foreman’s 93-yarder) … followed that with 106 yards on 28 carries to share team offensive MVP honors at Baylor.
