A third-year defensive back who played in 26 career games and made 20 starts before declaring for the NFL Draft … became just the third player in school history to return an interception for a TD in back-to-back games (Maryland/San Jose State in 2017) ... currently ranks second all-time in school history for career interceptions returned for a TD (3) and career non-offensive touchdowns (4) ... was named honorable mention All-Big 12 in 2015 … was an All-American in high school and one of the highest-rated cornerbacks in the nation as a senior.
JUNIOR (2017)
Played in and started the first nine games of the season ... started the season opener against Maryland, becoming the first FBS player in the last 10 seasons with both a pick-six and blocked FG returned for a touchdown in the same game ... his 31-yard interception return for a touchdown in the first quarter was the first for the Longhorns since he returned one against Oklahoma State in 2015 ... his 65-yard blocked FG return for a touchdown was the Longhorns' first since 2002 (188 games ago) ... he also tied his career high with eight tackles (all solo) ... returned an interception 45 yards for a touchdown against San Jose State, just the third player in school history to return an INT for a TD in back-to-back games ... started against USC and made seven tackles with two pass breakups in the double-overtime loss ... matched his career high with eight tackles (six solo) in Texas' 17-7 win at Iowa State ... started at corner and made two tackles in UT's double-overtime win against Kansas State ... had seven tackles (four solo) in the AT&T Red River Showdown against Oklahoma ... set a career-high with nine tackles (eight solo) and added a pass breakup as the Longhorns' defense stymied the Oklahoma State offense ... did not allow a passing touchdown and held the Cowboys' passing attack 129.2 yards below their season average ... totaled six tackles and had a pass breakup in a 38-7 win at Baylor ... also forced a fumble that was recovered by John Bonney ... totaled four tackles and one pass breakup in a loss to No. 10/12 TCU.
SOPHOMORE (2016)
Played in five games and made three starts (Cal, Oklahoma and Texas Tech) ... made 21 tackles (15 solo) with one pass breakup ... recorded five tackles in the season-opener against No.10 Notre Dame ... recorded three solo and five total tackles and one pass break-up versus California ... started in the game against OU and recorded four total tackles (three solo, one assist) ... had one solo tackle against Baylor ... had six total tackles against Texas Tech, four solo and two assists.
FRESHMAN (2015)
