FRESHMAN (2014)
Played in 12 games with seven starts at safety (Kansas, Baylor, Oklahoma, K-State, West Virginia, Oklahoma State and TCU) and on special teams … did not play against Iowa State due to injury … saw action in his first-ever collegiate game against North Texas … recorded three tackles (two solo), including a sack, against UCLA … earned his first career start against Kansas, recording seven tackles in the contest … became the first true freshman safety to start since Blake Gideon in 2008 (started all 13 games that season) … recorded seven tackles against Baylor … had eight tackles and a pass breakup against Oklahoma … missed the Iowa State game with a patellar tendon injury … returned to the starting lineup against Kansas State and recorded five tackles … had two tackles and a pass breakup against Texas Tech … posted a career-best nine tackles against West Virginia … had five stops against Oklahoma State … made one tackle against TCU .. had two stops against Arkansas in the Texas Bowl.
