SENIOR (2015)
Started the first 10 games of the season before missing the Texas Tech game and being limited in the Baylor game due to injury … chosen to the watch lists of the Doak Walker Award and Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award … ranked third on the team with 489 rushing yards to go along with three rushing TDs on 123 carries (4.0 ypc) … also caught six passes for 84 yards … opened the season with 40 yards on eight carries (5.0 ypc) at Notre Dame … rushed for one touchdown versus Rice … set a season high with 135 all purpose yards against Cal, including 46 rushing yards and two TDs on 11 carries (4.2 ypc), career highs of 71 receiving yards and four receptions (17.8 ypr), and two kickoff returns for 18 yards … posted 55 yards on 11 carries (5.0 ypc), including a 42-yard run versus Oklahoma State … registered 55 yards on 15 carries (3.7 ypc) at TCU … recorded 76 yards on 22 carries (3.5 ypc) against Oklahoma … set a season high with 103 rushing yards on 18 carries (5.7 ypc), including a season-long 46-yard run versus Kansas State … rushed for 56 yards on 14 carries (4.0 ypc) at West Virginia, despite having his game cut short due to injury.
JUNIOR (2014)
Played in all 13 games ... second on the team with 637 rushing yards ... led the team with seven rushing TDs ... had a team-leading 82 yards rushing against North Texas on 16 carries (5.1 ypc) ... ran the ball seven times for 49 yards against UCLA ... had 13 carries for 44 yards against Kansas ... had 79 yards rushing on 12 carries (6.6 ypc) and one TD against Baylor ... ran nine times for 20 yards and caught two passes for 19 yards against Oklahoma ... carried the ball six times for 24 yards (4.0 ypc) and a touchdown against Iowa State ... also caught two passes for 9 yards in the game ... had 10 carries for 24 yards against K-State ... ran 17 times for 77 yards and caught two passes for 11 yards against Texas Tech ... rushed 10 times for a season-high 101 (10.1 ypc) yards and had a career-high three TDs against West Virginia ... earned the team’s offensive player of the game award ... received honorable mention running back of the week accolades from the College Football Performance Awards for his performance against the Mountaineers ... ran 16 times for 81 yards (5.1 ypc) and a touchdown against Oklahoma State ... also had four catches for a season-high 35 yards (11.6 ypc) against the Cowboys ... caught a career-high four passes for 30 yards against TCU.
SOPHOMORE (2013)
Played in the first nine games at running back, starting all but the BYU contest ... suffered a season-ending injury vs. West Virginia ... finished second on the team in rushing (780 yards) ... despite missing nearly five games that rushing total was 10th in the Big 12 ... led the team in all-purpose yards (93.4 pg) ... a preseason second team All-Big 12 pick by Athlon ... had eight touches for 35 all-purpose yards (28 rushing/7 passing) vs. New Mexico State ... posted 13 carries for a team-high 90 yards against BYU ... posted a team-high 19 carries for 91 yards against Ole Miss ... recorded career highs in rushing yards (141) and all-purpose yards (151) vs. Kansas State ... also had two rushing TDs vs. the Wildecats ... became the second Longhorn to rush for more than 100 yards against the Wildcats (Jackie Fields, 161 in 1942) ... named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week and earned the team’s offensive player of the week award ... posted 16 carries for 94 yards, including a season-long 45 yarder for a TD, against Iowa State ... had three receptions for 15 yards vs. the Cyclones ... notched 123 yards in a career-high 29 carries against Oklahoma, marking his fourth time to rush for +100 yards ... first time he and Malcolm Brown (120) each rushed for over 100 yards ... earned one of the team’s offensive player of the game awards ... 31st time in school history (first vs. Oklahoma) two players rushed for more than 100 yards in the same game ... registered 22 carries for 94 yards in the win vs. TCU ... posted 68 yards on 18 carries and one reception for 5 yards against Kansas .... registered eight carries for 56 yards and one reception for 6 yards vs. WVU before leaving the game with a season-ending Achilles injury.
FRESHMAN (2012)
