• Had the fastest prelims time in the 100 backstroke at NCAA[apos]s with a 45.95
• Won the Big 12 Championship in the 100 backstroke with a time of 46.90 and also finished first in dual meets with SMU and Georgia
• Placed fifth at the Texas Invitational in the 200 backstroke witha 1:43.96, his second fastest time of the season
• Also competed in the 100 butterfly, taking seventh at the Texas Invitational (47.90) and eighth at the Big 12 Championships (49.58)
• Part of the 200 medley relay group that also had Friedland, Caskey and Feigen that won four races, including the Big 12 Championship (1:25.02) and duals with Michigan/Indiana, Georgia and Auburn while also placing fourth at NCAA[apos]s (1:24.73)

• Won the 100 backstroke (48.77) and placed fifth in the 200 backstroke (1:51.32) against Texas A&M
• Won the 100 backstroke (48.18) and placed sixth in the 200 backstroke (1:49.71) against Arizona and SMU
• Took fourth in the 200 butterfly (1:49.30) at Georgia
• Swam a 200 backstroke exhibition (1:49.42) at Auburn
• Placed third in the 100 backstroke (47.39), fifth in the 200 butterfly (1:47.93), won the 100 butterfly consolation final (47.27) and took third in the 200 backstroke consolation final (1:46.85) at the Texas Invitational
