AS A JUNIOR (2008-09)
• posted a 14-9 overall singles record and a 3-3 mark in dual-match play
• tallied an 18-3 overall doubles record, including a 6-2 dual-match record
• outlasted Texas A&M-Corpus Christi[apos]s James Langford in three sets in UT[apos]s 7-0 win over the Islanders
• defeated Arkansas[apos] Nikolas Zogaj, 7-5, 6-2 in Texas[apos] 5-2 win over the Razorbacks
• knocked off Texas-San Antonio[apos]s Maximilian Stratmann, 6-1, 6-2 in UT[apos]s 7-0 win over the Roadrunners
• defeated Michigan[apos]s George Navas and Georgia Tech[apos]s Austin Roebuck at the Key Biscayne Invitational
• posted five singles wins to win the consolation bracket at the Texas Invitational
• defeated Old Dominion[apos]s Yakov Diskin and Oklahoma State[apos]s Anton Bobytskyi in the pre-qualifying rounds at the ITA All-American Championships
• opened the seasons with victories over Illinois[apos] Connor Roth and Ruan Roelofse at the Olympia Fields Invitational
• teamed up with Josh Zavala to defeat Sacred Heart[apos]s Jinal Shah and Nick Mazzarese by an 8-1 count in UT[apos]s 4-0 win over the Pioneers in the opening round of the NCAA Championships
• joined with Miguel Reyes Varela to defeat Texas A&M[apos]s Colin Hoover and Austin Klores by an 8-1 count in Texas[apos] 7-0 victory over the Aggies at the Texas Cup
AS A SOPHOMORE (2007-08)
• Posted an 8-5 overall singles record and a 2-1 mark in dual-match play
• Registered dual-match victories over Texas-San Antonio[apos]s Daniel Moreiras and Texas-Arlington[apos]s Nishant Hari
• Defeated Rice[apos]s Hoony Shin and Arizona State[apos]s Murilo Souza at the ASU Spring Invitational
• Upset Texas A&M[apos]s Jerry Makowski in three sets at the ITA South Central Regional Championship

Son of Paul and Kathleen Wiegand ... has two sisters: Julia (19) , a sophomore on the Texas women[apos]s tennis team, and Kerry (14) ... father, Paul, played tennis at Texas from 1972-75 and his uncle, Marc, played tennis at UT from 1969-72 ... a pre-medicine major ... born Aug. 7, 1987 in San Antonio, Texas.
