• Helped Notre Dame to the 2008 Big East Outdoor Championship and a runner-up finish indoors as a sophomore
• Claimed the Big East outdoor title in the discus (175-0/53.35m) as a sophomore
• Also finished ninth in the shot put (51-0.75/15.56m) at the Big East Outdoor Championships
• Placed seventh in the shot put (51-7.25/15.73m) at the Big East Indoor Championships as a sophomore
• Finished seventh in the discus (164-8/50.19m) at the Big East Outdoor Championships as a freshman
HIGH SCHOOL
• Earned four letters in both track and field and football
• Won district and regional championships in the discus as a senior and qualified for the state meet
