Finished fifth in the decathlon at the Big 12 Championships with a personal-best total of 6,758 points ... posted decathlon career bests in the 1,500 meters (4:40.34), high jump (6-0.75/1.85m), shot put (39-8 (12.09m), javelin (166-10 (50.86m) and pole vault (13-5/4.09m) ... qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary Round in the 110-meter hurdles ... clocked a 14.24 in the first round to reach the quarterfinals, but did not advance to the national semifinal after posting a 14.21 (21st) ... clocked a personal-best 13.95 in the open 110-meter hurdles at the Texas Invitational ... that time placed him tied for 11th on the UT all-time performers list ... also logged a season-best 22-0.75 (6.72m) in the long jump at the Texas Invite ... earned second team Academic All-Big 12 honors
Indoor:
Earned all-league honors by running the final leg of the seventh place 4x400-meter relay (3:18.30) at the Big 12 Championships ... also competed in the heptathlon at the Big 12 meet, though did not finish ... after not clearing a height in the pole vault withdrew and ran on the 4x400 ... had a season-best 6-1.50 (1.87m) in the high jump at the league meet ... set personal bests in the shot put (39-6/12.04m) and pole vault (13-1.75/1.83m) at the Razorback Team Invitational.

Outdoor:
Tallied 6,758 points to finish ninth in the decathlon at the Big 12 Championships and posted personal bests in the 400 meters (49.17), shot put (36-9.75/11.22m) and pole vault (13-2.50/4.03m) … clocked 14.62 in the 110m hurdles prelims and finished 32nd in the 400m hurdles championship, clocking 53.75 at the Penn Relays … finished fifth in the 110m hurdles (14.17) and 11th in the 400m hurdles (53.87) at the Michael Johnson Classic … clocked 14.57 to finish 11th in the 110-meter hurdles and 53.41 for a 17th-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles at the Mt. SAC Relays … posted marks of 10.73 (100m), 50.00 (400m), 22-4.25/6.81m (long jump), 5-10/1.78m (high jump), 36-4.25/11.08m (shot put), 14.18 (110m hurdles), 4:47.22 (1,500 meters), 111-4/33.94m (discus) and 154-2/46.99 (javelin), tallying 6,850 points and finishing 15th in the decathlon at the Texas Relays .. finished second in the 110-meter hurdles (14.03) and fifth in the 400-meter hurdles (54.12) at the UT/Arkansas/UCLA tri meet.
Indoor:
Ran 8.02 in the prelims of the 60-meter hurdles at the Big 12 Championships … clocked a personal-best 60-meter hurdles time of 7.93 to finish third at the Don Kirby Invitational … posted a 60-meter hurdle time of 8.43 in the championship prelims at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational … tallied 4,879 points to finish sixth in his first collegiate heptathlon at the Razorback Invitational … posted marks of 7.10 (60 meters), 21-8.75/6.62m (long jump), 33-4/10.16m (shot put), 6-2.75/1.90m (high jump), 8.16 (60-meter hurdles), 2:55.20 (1,000 meters) and 10-11.75/3.35m (pole vault) in the heptathlon at the Razorback Invitational … won the 60-meter hurdles (8.15) and placed fourth in the long jump (21-11.50/6.69m) at the UT vs. Arkansas Dual Meet.
HIGH SCHOOL
Placed second in the 110-meter hurdles (13.85) and third in the 300mh (37.21) at the UIL State Championships as a senior … posted a personal-best 13.67 110-meter hurdle time at the Region 1-5A Meet … won the 110-meter hurdles (14.37) and 300-meter hurdles (37.93) at the District 6-5A Meet … competed in both hurdle events, jumps and relays … named Runner of the Year as a junior … earned second-team all-area as a junior … took third in the 300m hurdles (37.70) and fifth in the 110m hurdles (14.51) at the 2009 5A Texas state meet … claimed a regional championship in the 300m hurdles (37.75) and finished as the runner-up in the 110m hurdles (14.14) … won the school’s Track Athlete of the Year as a senior … posted district championships in both the 110m (14.35) and 300m hurdles (39.66) … four-year letterman and two-year captain of track and field team ... also lettered in football for two years and tabbed first-team all-district as a junior.
