· Was sixth at the Texas Twilight throwing 179-2 (54.63m)
· Used a personal-best 198-5 (60.48m) to finish fourth at the Texas Relays

· Tossed the javelin 185-5 (56.52m) for 11th place at the Big 12 Championships
· Threw a season-best 186-7 (56.88m) in a second-place finish at the Texas Twilight
· Fourth-farthest javelin thrower at the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational with a distance of 182-1 (55.51)
· Opened the season with a fourth-place performance of 170-10 (52.08m) at the Texas Invitational
· Also ran 23.28 in the 200-meter dash and vaulted 15-1 (4.60m) at the first home meet of the year

· Reached a season-high 15-7 (4.75m) to finish fourth in the pole vault at the Leonard Hilton Memorial
· Cleared 15-3 (4.65m) at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational
· Fourth-highest vaulter at the NYC Gotham Cup with a 14-9 (4.50m)

· Took 11th in the decathlon (6,123) at the Big 12 Championships
· Placed 12th in the decathlon with 6,490 points at the Texas Relays, where he posted a fourth-place showing in the pole vault 15-1 (4.59m) and an eighth-place effort in the javelin 169-
