· Took sixth in the 3,000m steeplechase (8:58.53) at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships
· Placed second in the 3,000m steeplechase (8:48.95) at the Big 12 Championships
· Ran the opening leg of the distance-medley relay at the Penn Relays, helping Texas to its first Penn Relays DMR victory (9:33.10) and breaking the 17-year-old school record
· Posted a NCAA regional mark and then-personal-best time of 8:47.86 for 10th place in the 3,000m steeplechase at the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational
· Took fourth in the 1,500m (3:47.89) at the Texas Twilight
· Broke his own Mike A. Myers Stadium record in the 2,000m steeplechase, winning the event in 5:39.71 at the Texas Twilight
