A multiple-time Missouri Class 4 All-State, first-team all-conference, all-district and all-region selection, Maloney was rated at No. 7 (tie) in the Extra Inning Softball Extra Elite 100 rankings (No. 2 overall outfielder) and No. 64 in Softball America’s Top 100 players listing … during her time at Liberty H.S., she batted .536 overall with 224 hits, 182 runs scored, 12 doubles, 18 triples, 13 home runs and 66 steals while posting a 1.280 OPS … her finest season, production-wise, came in 2020 as Maloney hit .567 with program single-season records: 59 hits, 58 runs, nine triples, 12 home runs and a 23-game hitting streak … off the diamond, Maloney played multiple soccer seasons at Liberty, including being part of the 2019 Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) Class 4 girls state soccer champions ...
