Nichols was a four-time fastpitch state champion and three-time slowpitch state champion in addition to a two-time basketball state semifinalist … she also won a state championship in the long jump … ranked in the top 10 in multiple prep softball publications … maintained a .450-or-better batting average and stole 66 base over three years on the travel ball scene … a multi-time all-conference performance on both the softball diamond, basketball hardwood and track and field … in the classroom, she's maintained a 4.0 grade point average and has been a member of the National Honor Society.
