OUTDOOR: Ran a personal-best time of 17:23.64 in the 5000m at the Texas Relays… Ran a PB in the 3000m at 10:26.13 in the dual meet against Texas A&M.
INDOOR: Opened her indoor season at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational with a personal-best time of 2:10.61 in the 800m.
CROSS COUNTRY: Ran the 5K in 18:27.2 at the Tornado Watch Invitational and helped the team score a perfect 15 points in the opening race of the season…Finished the 6K at the Cowboy Jamboree in 23:38.2... Competed at the Big 12 Championships in the 6K and finished with a time of 24:10.8 to help Texas finish fourth, overall...
2020-21 (Sophomore)
OUTDOOR: Competed at the Texas vs. Texas A&M dual meet in the 3000-meter and finished with a time of 10:32.74 to finish sixth... Ran the 5000-meter in 18:12.62 at the Michael Johnson.

2019-20 (Freshman)
OUTDOOR: 2020 season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
CROSS COUNTRY: Competed four times … made her collegiate debut at the Bear Twilight on Aug. 31, placing 15th … clocked 14:16.6 on the 4K course … finished ninth at the Texas Invitational … completed the 5K course in 18:30.1 … won the Concordia Cross Country Classic, her first collegiate win, after finishing the 6K race in 23:14.6 … finished the 5K course at the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival in 18:07.5.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered four times in both cross country and track at Hebron … earned first-team All-State cross country honors in 2017 … received third-team honors at the 2017 and 2018 Nike South Regionals.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Sukaina and Mustafa Fazel … has one brother, Aamer, and one sister, Sara … originally began running to stay in shape for football … enjoys recreating the elaborate dishes she sees on Food Network.
