2021-22 (Senior)
OUTDOOR: Made his debut this outdoor season and competed in the high jump clearing 1.82m and finished 10th in the javelin with a throw of 51.18m at the Michael Johnson Invitational.
INDOOR: Began the season at the Clemson Invitational in the 60mH and finished with a personal-best time of 8.37, finished fourth in pole vault at 4.50m (14'9") and the long jump with a mark of 7.12m (23'4.5")... Competed in his first heptathlon of the season at the Texas Tech Open and Multis and recorded a score of 4,546 points, highlighted by a personal-best in the 60 (6.98), long jump (7.27m / 23-10.25) and the 60m hurdles (8.31).
2020-21 (Junior):
OUTDOOR: Finished third in the 110m hurdles 15.44W at the Longhorn Invitational... Competed in pole vault at the Texas Invitational (4.81m/15'9.25")... Set a personal-best score of 6,976 points in the decathlon at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships and to finish fifth.
INDOOR: Competed in three events at the Texas Tech Corky Classic (60m, HJ and PV)... Finished fifth in the heptathlon at the Texas Tech Invitational with two fourth-place finishes in the 60m (7.08) and the long jump (7.06m/23'2")... Competed in the 60m hurdles (8.85) and the long jump (6.88m/22'7") at the Tyson Invitational... Set a personal-best score (5,423 pts) in the heptathlon at the Big 12 Indoor Championships to finish second.
2019-20 (Sophomore)
OUTDOOR: 2020 season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
INDOOR: Opened by competing in the 60m, 60m hurdles, 4x400m and pole vault at the Tiger Paw Invitational … placed fifth in the heptathlon at the Big 12 Championships … took second in the 60m, third in the long jump, fourth in the pole vault and a pair of sixth-place finishes in the shot put and high jump.
2018-19 (Freshman)
OUTDOOR: Did not compete.
INDOOR: Opened his Texas career with a 7.11 in the 60m at the Reveille Invitational … placed eighth in the high jump at the Ted Nelson Invitational … ran a personal-best 60m hurdles and placed ninth at the Clemson Invitational … scored 5,134 points in the heptathlon and finish fourth at the Houston Invitational … wrapped up his season by competing in the 60m and long jump at the Texas Tech Shootout.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered as a junior and senior in track and field … graduated with honors … qualified for regionals in five events as a junior … won five gold medals in the Area meet as a senior … won the long jump at the regional meet as a senior … won the UIL state long jump title in 2018 … was his school’s track and field MVP as a senior … received the Distinguished Athlete Award from the U.S. Marine Corps … also played baseball for two years, lettering as a sophomore.
