OUTDOOR: Finished third in the 3000m run with a time of 10:02.30 at the Longhorn Invitational... Ran a personal-best time in the 5000m at 16:47.42 at the Texas Relays..Ran a PB in the 3000m in the dual meet against Texas A&M at 9:56.96... Competed in the 5K at the Mt. SAC Relays and finished with a time of 16:59.29... Ran a personal-best time of 34:54.56 in the 10K at the Penn Relays… Competed in both the 5K and the 10K at the Big 12 Championships where she finished 8th in the latter…
Cross Country: Opened the season in the 6K at the Cowboy Jamboree, running a time of 23:00.7 as the fourth Longhorn to finish and help the team to a fifth-place finish... Helped Texas win its second meet of the season at the Concordia Classic in the 6K and finished sixth overall with a time of 21:57.0... Was the sixth Longhorn to finish at the FSU Invite in the 6K with a time of 22:18.1... Helped Texas to a fourth-place finish at the Big 12 Championships finishing the 6K in 22:44.3... Was the fifth Longhorn to finish the 6K at the NCAA South Central Regional with her time of 21:41.4.
2019-20 (Freshman)
OUTDOOR: 2020 season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
INDOOR: Transferred to Texas … did not compete.
CROSS COUNTRY: Raced four times as a freshman at Florida State … placed 14th in her FSU debut at the Covered Bridge Open … finished eighth in the Open division at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational, covering the 5K course in 17:33.8 … followed it up with a sixth-place finish at the Blazer Classic in her 6K debut … was the Seminoles’ No. 7 finisher at the ACC Championship.
HIGH SCHOOL: Entered the collegiate ranks with personal-bests on the track of 5:01.87 (1,600m), 10:34.47 (3,200m) and 17:03.23 (5,000m) … owns the Lake Highlands school record in all three events … was a seven-time UIL district champion between cross country and track … two-time state qualifier in both sports … wrapped a banner senior season with a fifth-place finish in the 3,200m at the UIL Championships … finished seventh at the Nike Cross Nationals South Regional and ninth at the Foot Locker South Regional … placed 19th in the 2018 Foot Locker Nationals in San Diego.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Caryn and Philip Peeples … was a two-year member of National Honor Society in high school … graduated in the top-10 percent of her class.
