2021-22 (Grad):
OUTDOOR: Finished eighth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 50.65 at the Texas Relays… Competed in both hurdle events in the dual meet against Texas A&M, finishing second in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.09 and third in the 400m hurdles with a season-best time of 50.57... Ran a season-best time of 50.32 in the 400m hurdles and competed in the 110m hurdles at the Mt. Sac Relays... Finished third in the 400m hurdles at the LSU Invitational with his season-best time of 50.18… Ran a personal-best time of 13.80 in the 110m hurdles at the Big 12 Championships to finish fifth and finished sixth in the 400m hurdles while helping Texas to a team title…. Qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 400m hurdles at the NCAA West Prelims…Competed in the 400m hurdles at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
INDOOR: Opened the indoor season at the Red Raider Open in the 200m with a time of 21.95, a third-place finish in the 60mH at 7.94 seconds and helped the Longhorns to the third-place finish in the relay at 3:07.21... Added two, fourth-place finishes at the New Mexico Collegiate Invite in the 200m (22.12) and 60m hurdles (7.99)... Competed in the 60m hurdles at the Tiger Paw Invite and finished 12th in the semis with a time of 7.97 seconds... Scored five team points at the Big 12 Championships with a fourth-place finish in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.03 seconds.
2020-21 (Senior)
OUTDOOR: Won the 110m hurdles with a wind-aided time of 14.03 at the Texas Invitational... Had two top-six finishes at the Texas Relays - sixth in 400m hurdles at 51.99 and fifth in the 4x400 relay with a combined time of 3:10.06... Won the 400m hurdles with a time of 49.94 and came in second with a time of 14.07 in the 110 hurdles in the dual meet against Texas A&M... Competed at the LSU Gold Meet... Posted two top-three finishes and personal-best times in the hurdles at the Big 12 Championships, finishing second in the 400m hurdles at 49.51 and third in the 110m hurdles at 14.06... Advanced to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 400m hurdles and finished eighth at 49.92 to earn USTFCCCA First Team All-America honors.
INDOOR: Began the season winning the 400m at the Corky Classic with a time of 48.60 and helped the relay finish second with a time of 3:09.47... Ran a personal-best time in the 60m hurdle prelims at 7.97 seconds and matched it in the finals at the Woo Pig Classic to finish fourth and was part of the third-place 4x400 relay team that ran a time of 3:09.62... Finished with a personal-best time of 21.95 in the 200m, a sixth-place finish in the 60m hurdles at the Charlie Thomas Invite... Ran a personal-best time of 7.19 in the 60m and was part of the winning relay at the Tyson Invitational... Finished sixth at the Big 12 Championships with a time of 8.00 seconds in the 60m hurdles and helped the Longhorns win the relay.
2019-20 (Junior)
OUTDOOR: 2020 season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
INDOOR: Raced in six meets … debuted at the FasTrak Collegiate Opener in Houston, winning the 60m hurdles with a then-personal-best 8.06 … also finished third in the 4x400m … dropped his personal best to 8.05 with a fourth-place finish at the Leonard Hilton Invitational one month later … took 10th in the 60m hurdles at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Collegiate Invitational … ran a personal-best 22.11 in the 200m at the Tiger Paw Invitational … also clocked 8.06 in the 60m hurdles … part of UT’s fourth-place 4x400m team at the Big 12 Championships.
BEFORE TEXAS: Competed as a hurdler at Mississippi State for two years … was a four-year high school track letterman … participated in the Texas UIL 6A state track meet for three years, finishing second in the 300m hurdles and third in the 110m hurdles … a five-time USATF/AAU Junior Olympic champion … ran 14.32 in the 110m hurdles and 52.51 in the 400m hurdles at the 2015 USATF Junior Olympics … clocked 14.11 and 5111 in the 2016 AAU Junior Olympics … ran a 50.70 in the 2017 USATF Junior Olympics … began running track at age seven … made the A/B honor roll throughout high school … graduated with honors.
