OUTDOOR: Competed for the first time this outdoor season in the javelin and finished with a throw of 42.50m (139-5) at the LSU Invitational… Finished sixth in the javelin at the Big 12 Championships
2020-21
OUTDOOR: Opened the season at the dual meet against Texas A&M with a second-place finish in the javelin with a throw of 47.57m/156-1... Posted another second-place finish in the javelin at the Michael Johnson Invitational ith a mark of 47.55m/156-0... At the LSU Alumni Gold meet, finished fourth with her mark of 48.15m/158-0... Threw a personal-best mark of 50.70m/166'4 at the Texas Invitational... Just missed the podium at the Big 12 Championships with a fourth-place finish with her mark of 47.19m... Finished the year at the NCAA West Regionals, recording a mark of 46.05m/151-1 in the javelin.

OUTDOOR: 2020 season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.

PRIOR TO TEXAS: Competed at the University of Oklahoma for four years … finished her career at OU with a ninth-place finish in the javelin at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays … threw the javelin 46.23m/151-8 that day … logged a personal-best javelin throw at the 2018 Big 12 Outdoor Championships with a 53.87m/176-9 mark … finished as the runner-up … took fourth in the javelin at the Texas Relays in 2018, throwing 50.69m/166-4.
HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time state champion in the javelin at Roseburg High School (OR) … earned Oregon Outstanding Freshman honors … twice was recognized as the Field MVP in Oregon … played for the Roseburg volleyball team that finished runner-up in the state tournament.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Patricia Kearney and Stephanie Hutchins … has one brother, Ian … both parents threw javelin in college … Patricia threw at Oregon, Stephanie at Pacific Lutheran … a four-time recipient of the Roseburg High School Academic Feather honor … also competed in volleyball, swimming and basketball.
