2021-22 (Grad):
OUTDOOR: Competed in the C. Price Jr. 4x400 relay that finished fourth with a time of 3:02.99, finished with a personal-best in the 100m with a time of 10.66 and ran in both the 4x100 and DMR at the Texas Relays... Returned to the track at the Michael Johnson Invite and competed in the 200m and 400m dash...Competed in the 400m dash at the LSU Invitational… Ran the 400m at the Big 12 Championships and helped Texas to a team title… Ran the opening leg of the 4x400 that ran a Texas program record (3:00.70) to qualify for NCAAs... Competed in the prelims of the 4x400 NCAA Outdoor Championships.
INDOOR: Opened the season at the Red Raider Open in the 200m dash with a time of 21.42 seconds and was part of the 4x400 B relay with a time of 3:11.30 that finished sixth.... Helped Texas win the 4x400 relay with a program record time of 3:04.19 at the Big 12 Championships... Helped the 4x400 finish as the runner-up at the NCAA Indoor Championships, sealing the first-ever Texas NCAA Team Title.
2020-21 (Senior)
OUTDOOR: Finished third in both relays at the Texas Relays - 4x100 (40.20) and 4x400 (3:01.28)... Finished third in the 400m (47.32) and second in the 4x400 (3:06.16) at the dual meet against Texas A&M... Competed at the Michael Johnson Invitational... Finished fourth on the 4x100 relay with a time of 39.76 and sixth with a PB in the 400m at 46.14 at the LSU Alumni Gold meet... Competed at the Texas Invitational in the 200m and 400m... Finished eighth in the 400m and first in the 4x400 relay at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships... Finished 10th at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
INDOOR: Competed at the Corky Classic in the 200m... Helped Texas finish third in the 4x400 and finished fifth in the 400m at the Wooo Pig Classic... Part of the winning 4x400 relay at the Tyson Invitational... Ran PB in the 200m prelims at the Big 12 Indoor Championships at 21.30 and finished seventh overall and fifth in the 400m (46.70) and was part of the 4x400 relay team that won with a time of 3:07.20.. Finished eighth at the NCAA Indoor Championships in the 4x400 relay (3:07.71).
2019-20 (Junior)
OUTDOOR: 2020 season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
INDOOR: Appeared in six meets … made his UT debut with second-place finishes in the 200m and 4x400m at the FasTrak Collegiate Opener … helped the Longhorns win the 4x400m at the Leonard Hilton Invitational … also competed in the 60m and 200m … placed sixth in the 400m at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Collegiate Invitational … won the 400m and 4x400m at the Razorback Invitational … appeared in the 200m, 400m and 4x400m at the Tiger Paw Invitational … Placed fifth in the 400m at the Big 12 Championships … also took fourth in the 4x400m and 13th in the 200m.
BEFORE TEXAS: Competed at Colorado for two years before transferring to UT … ran a personal-best 6.97 in the 60m at the 2019 Air Force Invitational … ran in the 100m and 4x400m at the 2019 Texas Relays … helped Colorado finish second in the relay … finished 10th in the 200m at the 2019 Pac-12 Outdoor Championships … clocked a 46.14 in the 400m as well.
PERSONAL: Son of Jon Maas and Marylou Lamborn … has two brothers, Jordan and Jackson … also has two sister, Courtney Mundon and Haley Skye … first member of his family to attend The University of Texas … grandfather, Dean Maas, played football and ran track at Luther College … wanted to attend UT since elementary school.
